All the stars and constellations I knew so well were out: the North Star, the Big Dipper, Orion to the south, and millions and millions of stars I didn’t know. And there I saw the faint brightness of morning creeping in on the eastern sky.

It opened my inner eyes and mind to the realization that, in the past, mine had been a very regional perception.
